I have a spare loose Ambulance to trade,OK condition but sadly mising one opening door
Ok as a filler until a right one comes along.
I could get a few Alex Vandel to trade with someone,saw a few today at Argos

I'd say it has to be the plastic one from the playset.

Agreed. The play-set version also has stickers as opposed to decals FYI.

Yes its plastic.
I dont think they made a diecast of this, but maybe i;m wrong

This is the one item in my collection that's plastic. One of the first cars items I purchased. Being an opener and my son playing with all the cars, I never actually replaced it with the non-opening doors die-cast version. He loves sticking burnt McQueen in the back and taking him to the hospital to Dr. Mater and the nurses
