My son gets excited seeing the tv ads. He always wants us to, "play again." He'll be turning 3 soon and so Planes will be his first movie. Now I'm excited.

Yeah, my son is two and asks for "hikoki" (airplane in Japanese) almost every morning when I am checking my morning work email. I am so excited for him too!

Another clip was released sometime yesterday of El Chupacabra flirting with Rochelle. I'm pretty sure this is the first time we've heard Rochelle speak?

There is one more of El Chu that is along the lines of a commercial. You can find it on facebook or on the disney planes site.

Even though Disney is riding on the success of Pixar's 'Cars', I'm a little sad to find out that Pixar had nothing to do with 'Planes'. Even though it looks like a good Disney movie, I'm going to miss seeing the intro Pixar lamp.

I wouldn't get too hung up about that because firstly Lasseter has creative control over both, and has been the guy pushing both Cars and now Planes as some would say a vanity project. And secondly, Pixar as a studio hasn't exactly been hitting home runs of late, so the appearance of Luxo is not the guaranteed hallmark of quality it once was.
