our humble collections

Well some of you guys have some amazing collections, I have nothing like that ... we have only been collecting for a little while but I figured I would show you what we have so far.

Mine: (as a general rule I only collect Cars that I really like)





My sons: (no rhyme nor reason, he plays with his a lot and some aren't even in the shot... there are a couple in his bed i'm sure lol)



pay no attention to the spartan aquarium...we just moved it there

So my son got on me because he didn't like the way I had my Cars displayed...he says I have to have all my LMQs and all of my Maters together so I had to shuffle some stuff around and figured I would take some better pics. I am building a display case/shelf as we speak so the shelf they are currently on is just temporary.

Well Since my new shelving is almost finished (paint is drying as we speak) I figured I would take on last set of pictures off my collection on its old (and now severely overcrowded shelf) before I start to take it down tomorrow.











Stay tuned for new pictures with the new shelf next week...

Nice collection, but I hope your new shelf has runners along the edges -- I'd hate to see the results if that gets bumped!

all of my cars hanging out with the Haynes Manuals while I hang the new shelf...

hung my new shelf today...It is by no means perfect but it works and I was able to build it from stuff I had laying around. Unfortunately I underestimated the amount of Cars I have so I am already building a second one to wrap around on the next wall.
