  • 2013 Cars singles

Earlier I posted information about the 2013 Mainline singles case A... I'm hoping to get photos soon that show some of the Cars on the back of the carded Cars... when I do, I'll share it.

In the meantime, here's what is shown on the back of the card... thank you, Met for posting at:
    http://www.takefiveaday.com/2012/11/...cklist-part-1/
    http://www.takefiveaday.com/2012/11/...cklist-part-2/

As we know, Mattel has released the 2013 Mainline singles case A... JMDL Toys has received a small shipment and has more due next week...

On the back of the cardback, the www.mattel.com/cars link is listed... It still redirects to Cars2 and the 2012 models, so these Cars don't appear to be shown on the website yet.

Again, I'll add photos as soon as I can; we do not use photos from other websites or people without permission.

    Excellent news!

Thats 2 Lemons I want/need for my lemon collection

I wonder who the other Lemons will be. I heard whispering/suggestions that Grem with missile will be included.

Great news for Rip...now, lets see if he actually makes it anywhere lol. I imagine 11 of the WGP series will be the racers. Wonder who the other 6 will be.

Tunerz, I'm in. I can't skip out on these.

I like the idea of rereleasing the Tunerz with flames instead of the normal originals. It keeps the old ones rare while also releasing brand new Cars in the process.

And there are more you need to add in the Festival Italiano and Mater's series'.

      Festival Italiano Series:
      Uncle Topolino - case A
      Mama Topolino
      Race Team Luigi and Guido

      Maters Series:
Race Team Mater - case A
      Kabuki Mater- case A deluxe
      Ivan Mater- case A deluxe

Thank you for the update, Fillmore1234... I am looking forward to receiving pictures of the cardbacks so I can share them.

It's good to see that you listed a couple new Mater (Kabuki, Ivan)... new Cars are nice for all of us.

Original post edited to add the Cars that Fillmore1234 listed.

Do you guys think the flames in the back are soft or hard plastic and do you think they light up (i.e. battery needed)?

if they are anything like the one on the rear of my kabuto thy are hard plastic and don't light up.

i don't believe they are being released as Lights and Sounds although i would say that these would be very popular if they did.

I agree with djjd21. These will probably be hard plastic flames that just look pretty (I still want them).

Wish they would release a reglar Ivan alongside Ivan Mater. Would be nice to have them side by side to compare (I hear the real Ivan has a slightly different hood/nose area) Maybe lemon #7 since 6 of them have been announced

I received a text message from one of bobbyjack's friends this morning - they found 2013 singles at an independent toy store... not cheap at $6.50 each plus tax... here are a few photos:

Hank Halloween Murphy and J Curby Gremlin:

                  cardback:

                  Dusty and Suki:

                  cardback:

I think these cardbacks are stunning... among the best that Mattel has done.

                  Thank you for the photos...

J Curby Gremlins cardback has me all excited! Tubbs Pacer and Petey Pacer are just fantastic!

$6.50 is cheaper then singles what I'm paying here locally. By ˘0.22 lol.

Great cards, so does this mean Cars 2 packaging is never going to be released again? good news...
