So while helping my son pick up his Cars this morning I realized that Axle Accelerator, R.S. Trooper, Donna Pits and Vern are all the same casting. I know there are plenty of cars that share the same casting (DJ and Yokoza come to mind) but I thought it would be pretty interesting to see how many of each casting have been used. Is there a list or checklist of sorts showing who uses who's casting?

Yojimbo is like DJ. A lot of the piston cup racers are the same.

Frank Clutchenson is not the same mold as Franca and Francesca.
Nick Stickers, Bert, and Corander Widtrack are completely different molds.
Race Official Tom is the same as the Spare Mint, Shiny Wax, Leakless, No Stall, and RPM Crew Chiefs.

Boost and Kabuto are not the same casting. The main differences are the hoods and Boost has the little things on the back that say N2o cola on them. Also Ito-San and Skip look similar but are different. Miles is also a similar style car to Maurice but are different castings.
Yokoza, Yojimbo, and Dj are all different i believe. Even though they are basically the same. Yojimbo has 1 set of mirrors while Dj and Yokoza have 3. But Yokoza and Yojimbo have plastic normal windows as Dj has metal windows with all the speakers in them.
Also, Becky is the same as Ronnie del Cooper.

I just compared the Kabuto and Boost (w/ flames) that i have here and i suspect that one was a modified version of the other. The largest difference is Kabuto's one exhaust pipe to Boost's two. Like you said the hood bulge has a minuscule difference and Kabuto's eyes are part of the casting while Boost's are an insert.
