I thought I'd read somewhere that Cars 3 is going to be set along the old US Route 99 which ran from the US-Mexico border (California) to the US-Canada (Washington) border... Interstate 5 replaced US 99 as the main north-south road in California, Oregon, and Washington... If Cars 3 is indeed going to be set along US 99, I'm definitely excited about the film - much more so than Planes Fire and Rescue, and much more so than Cars 2.

Wow, first I'd heard of it but I'm not surprised, given that Cars 2 did pretty well. Incredibles 2, that came as a surprise, though.
That'd be really cool if they followed the old Hwy 99, it runs within a couple of miles from my house, I've driven my 1944 Willys Jeep on it plenty of times. But it's a really rural 2-lane road, I couldn't imagine a race on that highway.
Maybe they'll give Sarge more screen time in this film!

I'm definetly looking forward to Cars 3....but even more so for Incredibles 2!

I'm more jazzed for the incredibles 2 than cars 3

I'm still think 3 will not be as good with a bunch of replacement voices

I'm having a hard time seeing it work, but you never know. I thought Cars2 was brilliant in that they didnt really go to the same well twice. Different story, different leads, completely different. I think Cars2 will be much more appreciated as time goes by. Incredibles 2, however is quite exciting since that is easily my favorite Pixar movie.
