eBay breached - change your eBay password

Not a hoax... eBay has announced today that they suffered a security breach in February.

They are urging everyone with an eBay account to change your eBay password.

I went to eBay... chose how I wanted to receive notice to perform my password reset, and changed it.

Be safe - change your eBay password.

I'm not saying that I don't trust these things, I really only feel "safe" when eBay says something about. Thanks for the info.

Kenny - when I went to eBay.com, there was a window on the screen announcing the breach and instructing me to change my password... I work in IT... this is definitely a real breach... that took them 3 months to announce (and supposedly almost 3 months to find out).

STILL haven't heard a single word from eBay, but I changed mine yesterday anyway.

I hope they axe the CEO over this.
