  • Scale: Cars of all sizes

Cars come in various sizes... the term is referred to as scale... A life-size car is a 1:1 scale...

Here's a photo of a 1:1 scale Mater taken at the State Farm Agents on a Mission World Tour in Florence, Kentucky on April 1, 2011:

Here is a photo showing several different scale Cars:

1:18 Ridemakerz Mater and 1:24 Lights and Sounds Cars2 Mater:

The next 2 pictures show a 1:43 scale Disney Store Custom Apple (made from a Clutch Aid), a 1:55 Mater, a Mini Mater, and a Disney Store Radio Control Mini Mater:

Mack Hauler (1:55 scale) and Mini Mack Hauler:

A 1:55 scale Car is 1/55th the size of a real car (55 times smaller than the real car)... The Mattel Cars are 1:55 scale.

A 1:43 scale Car is 1/43rd the size of a real car (43 times smaller than the real car)... The Disney Store diecast Cars are 1:43 scale.

A 1:24 scale Car is 1/24th the size of a real car (24 times smaller than the real car)... the large Lights and Sounds Cars are 1:24 scale.

A 1:18 scale Car is 1/18th the size of a real car (18 times smaller than the real car)... the Ridemakerz Metallic Paint Mater is 1:18 scale, as are the large Ridemakerz Cars.

Hopefully this helps you with your understanding of the size of the various Cars products.
