Well the short answer, what someone is willing to pay for them... That's not too helpful I know. But in my opinion not nearly what they were worth say seven years ago. Here's some reference:

    Sold (7 bids) $35.65 shipped

    Unsold $266 shipped

And as a barometer of sorts. The 2006 Factory Sealed set, that seven years ago commanded a $1,000+ price tag. It recently sold for just over $600 shipped.

Edit: Unsealed set I guess, I just read the description...

Good question, ravindra0204... good answer, GotFrank.

Several years after the release of the Desert Back series Cars, I decided I wanted to get a set of the Desert Back 12 (DB12) and Desert Back 16 (DB16) singles as well as the 4 Desert Back Movie Moments to keep carded... I ended up paying more than original retail for some of them... I did decide that I didn't need or want all variations of Filmore/Fillmore which saved me some money and space.

I also decided to complete my Final Lap singles by buying the re-released Cars on the Final Lap cardback - I'd left every one of those in a Target store at one point in time so I ended up spending quite a bit more to get those after the fact.

My holy grail is a 2006 sealed Factory Set... I don't see myself buying one any time soon - too much money, no real place to display the boxed set, and I've got all the Cars in some other format (loose or on another cardback or in a boxed set)... After 10 years my enthusiasm for Cars is diminished... I was very disappointed in Cars 2 which I've only seen 3 times - I have seen Cars over 150 times (but only once in the last 4 years) - Cars is my favorite movie.

I've finally decided I don't need multiples of each Cars item... and may not even need multiples of a Car.

Good luck on the sale of your older Cars.
