Davey Apex is now Dave Alternators?

I've just got back into the cars collecting seen after a couple years break and noticed that Davey Apex has a new name, Dave Alternators, does anyone know why they changed his name? Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer....

It's Dave Alternators in the Pixarpedia book, so that's probably why they switched it.
