Recent Finds - November Store Purchases

I was surprised, Tmremote, to see how dry it was in Cincinnati... I'd done fairly well on all-day trips in the past... including finding 2 Frank at the Florence TRU back on April 1, 2011... but I had to really look to buy what I did... had the traffic not been so crazy in northern Kentucky, I'd have gone to the Target and Kroger in Newport off I-471.

Thanks, Cac1959! And just a note to everyone...the Disney Store is having a 20% sale right now (THANKS is the code) and it can be used on sale stuff. I just picked up the Mater Monster Truck Set for $12, and a few other singles for $5.20/apiece. Some cool chase cars.... You still have to pay shipping but it's not too terribly expensive if you get a few things...

Picked up a Chase Francesco Fan Mater at Kmart at 3 am this morning...

K-mart had nothing, Target had nothing, TRU had nothing (but amazingly looked like it had sold a lot of what we consider "junk stock"), Kohls had nothing, only Walmart had put anything special out for cars, and it looked like 2-3 cases worth of repack.

This is the extent of my Black Friday purchases...



I bought Francesco Fan Mater and the 2 Planes at 3 am at the Kmart in my in-laws town... bought the 4 singles at the Jasper, IN Kmart... didn't buy anything at any of the 8 other stores I stopped at... the one Indy Meijer we stopped at on our way home only had Holiday Hotshot McQueen left (x7) as far as Christmas Cars are concerned.

I did see the new launchers at the one Kohl's store we stopped at... at 25% off they were $11.24 plus tax but I'm not buying them... and this Kohl's did have remnants of a 2013 case... none worth paying $4.49 each.
