Recent Finds - March 2014 Store Purchases

They go fast. Several times Ive seen a lone Mack.

None of the "close" Walmarts even have the tag out for them. I had to go a good 45 minutes away (one South and one West) to find ones that even had the tags.

Nothing at walmart. Big Lots stopped Cars overall...

Haven't been able to find anything at Target or Walmart any this week. Though they've been restocking their pegs.

Nice finds, I havent found Lee and Guido yet. I have not cars hunted in a while...roads are slick this weekend. Maybe sometime this week I will go look for Case Y and the neons.

Found Chase Lee Race and Wheel Well Guido in an eastern Indiana Walmart store yesterday... I also found the Kenworth Semi and Greased Lightning cars from the last 2013 Retro Entertainment case at a Meijer, along with a Route 66 painting which will go in my new Cars room when we move.

I also bought the Neon Racers book at Target:


There are 2 stories in the book... after reading the book last night I can saw that I'm more likely to buy a set of the neon racers than I was before.

Hit 3 Walmart, 1 Kmart, 4 Target, and 2 Toys R Us and found nothing.

Hit 3 Walmarts this morning and found nothing!

Went on a Cars hunt this afternoon around Melbourne with the boy.

Target and Kmart have either zero or a couple of cars left. They surely will get new stuff soon?! I did give in to my son and get the final silver Francesco for $4 which was over half price.

Most Woolworths supermarkets had the recent UK new case with Fibre Fuel, No Stall, Nigel Gearsley, Flo etc. I Got Tubbs Pacer and Cartney Carsper from one to add to the Cora Copper from a different Woolies yesterday. One Woolworths though was in a time warp and had Cars 2 2011 Red Torque, Carla, Lightening, Francesco and Mater.

One Coles supermarket was the surprise - Lee Race and Matthew McCrew were among a pretty much full UK case apart from Lizzie.

We had a lot of fun and I doubt we will get a good a day as this for a long time!
