Great find, VANDANCE! I hate to see that Mattel is once again releasing cases/assortments with only one new Car.

Hey guys, I'm back now on this thread, sorry for the long wait.

Yesterday, I bought Strip Weathers AKA "The King" at Target to keep on card. (It's the Blue Desert one)

    Bill
    Jambalaya Chimichanga

    Lightning McQueen as Chester Whipplefilter

The 2018-2019 ones are (in International cards):

    Lightning McQueen as Chester Whipplefilter

Toymaster have the Mud Racing singles at £4.99 each:

    Barry dePedal
    Cal Weathers
    Clutch Aid
    Cruz Ramirez
    Jackson Storm
    Leakless
    Lightning McQueen
    Re-volting
    Speedy Comet
    Trunk Fresh

Hamleys have the Drag Racing singles at £13 each:

    Brick Yardley
    Cruz Ramirez
    Jackson Storm
    Lightning McQueen
    Lil' Torquey
    Nitroade
Thank you for the update, niftynigel... the 2018-19 Demo Derby Fishtail, Jimbo, and McQueen as Chester Whipplefilter did not show up in the US; I got a set of the 3 of them from a friend in Canada... Walmart in the US ordered way too many of the Cars 3 ones... close out stores including Big Lots and TJ Maxx (TK Maxx in the UK) got the leftovers of the Cars 3 ones... Other than the Drag Racing singles, prices on what you found are decent compared to many prices in the UK.

I decided not to buy the Mud Racer singles or Deluxe (other than Speedy Comet)...

Glad to hear that you still see ru5ty from time to time, boogity... those were the days... we have had some great members of this forum and Cars community over the years... not as much activity on the website lately but we're trying.

No new store finds for me within the last week... maybe I'll get to go look this weekend.

Awesome find, VANDANCE! Congratulations! I hope you find the rest of the new releases soon.

I do agree that the new cards look nice... I'm telling myself that I'm not buying everything that's released on the new card... so far I've only been buying new Cars and first time Thailand releases of the racers... although I did buy Otto Bonn and Maddy McGear as they are variants.

So the free dust didn't tempt you to buy new Cars boogity... it wouldn't tempt me either... hopefully you'll find new Cars soon as well.

The only ones from that case you found niftynigel that I bought for myself are Metallic Ryan Shields and I did buy 1 The King and 1 Barry DePedal... I bought a couple of the next generation racers for a friend in Europe.

I've driven 700 extra miles in the last 9 days to stop at Meijer stores that have empty singles pegs hoping to find more of the made in China Scavenger Hunt rubber tire racers... the pegs are still empty... I'd been told every time that they'd have Cars on the pegs the next day... this past Monday (Labor Day) they told me they're coming but they don't know when.

I found the first 2020 carded cars in Asda this morning on a clip strip. There were a lot already sold but I picked up Ryan Laney, Barry Depedal and Sherrif. The new card looks nice and can’t wait to find the rest of the releases!

Awesome to see that new 2020 Cars have arrived in the UK...

I went on a Cars hunt on Saturday 8/24/19... I drove 200 miles and stopped at 11 Meijer, 7 Walmart, and 5 Target stores... here are highlights of what I found:

Maddy McGear appears to be a glossy paint variant... Otto Bonn appears to be a different paint version than the original Cars 2 made in China version.

I also found 3 more of the Scavenger Cars at 1 of the 11 Meijer stores... I'm going to make a quick trip before work one morning this week.
