Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi to everyone on this site. I started to collect Disney Cars for my son back in late 2012 after I saw cars 2 for the first time. The first car I bought for him was Professor Z. He's 3 now and has around 50, though I have lots more boxed in the attic for him which he gets now and then! We saw cars 1 after cars 2 and are sadly missing most of the cars 1 cars (other than the 2013 re-releases) - we will perhaps be the minority hoping for cars 1 re-releases in 2014! I've found it impossible to not start a small collection myself (which started with Chick Hicks and the King) but I am desperately fighting the urge to collect more for myself as I already collect things like the retro hotwheels, retro toys in general and even a lot of newer release toys like the classic turtles figures and masterpiece transformers. I hope to pass these to my boy when he's old enough but I certainly enjoy accumulating them in the meantime! I've already traded with a couple of members and hope to do so more in the future (I'll try to put up a wanted/haves list soon when I get a chance).
