  • Pixar Cars Diecast Price Guide and Checklist

My son has been an avid Pixar Cars diecast collectors since the first movie came out. He also collects PEZ dispensers, coins, and old Thomas the Tank Engine trains.

He was able to find price guides for PEZ and coins but not for Pixar Cars so we decided to create a Pixar Cars' Price Guide and Checklist. We have spent hundreds of hours creating the website and determining fair prices for each car of every series so far and will continue to spend many more hours updating the guide and checklist.

Please take a look at http://pixarcarspriceguide.com

We are charging a one time $15 purchase and each member receives his/her own password so they can enter the member's area as often as they wish to see the latest prices and view the checklist. We will include Planes when they are released. As this is an online price guide, it can be purchased by collectors around the world.

To determine the fair value of each car, we look at all the prices each car sells for on Ebay and the many internet retailers who sell Pixar Cars. We then take an average and come up with a range. When you visit the site, you will see an example of what I have noted here.

Thanks for taking a look. We hope we this was the correct forum to add this topic. If not, hopefully one of the admins can let us know where to place it.

Couldnt we all chip in to purchase a PCD account rather than all have separate ones? Just a thought

Although we would like to do that, it has taken hundreds of hours to check all the values and create the site. On top of that, it will take hundreds of hours more updating the prices on a frequent basis plus we have to pay for the site's monthly hosting fees. We would be open to a discounted fee for all PCD members if there was enough interest.

We could drop the price down to $12 per member but PCD members would have to contact me at tmccann348@aol.com and let us know that they are PCD members. We would return their email to share our paypal address and once they paid, we would email the new member their price guide membership password.
