Continuing the move of images from Facebook......

This is a custom made Richard Petty Nitroaide like the car that is raced at Disneyworld and a regular Nitroaide. It's not perfect and I will be making another version eventually. This when time permits. If I remember correctly Scavenger was nice to share some decals he had started making for it. I modified them a bit afterwords. Thanks Jim.

I've been working on this for a little while. I wanted to make a hauler to replicate the scene when Mack follows a tanker truck in the early morning. The result is not quite what I had hoped for with the chrome paint, but still not bad. I've two other tanks that are already painted silver grey. The next one will be made with metal chrome paper.

                    Looking good Toyfountain!!
That Chrome style spray paint is very tricky, and even if sprayed perfectly imperfections can mysteriously appear after drying.

This is exactly what happened. When I sprayed it the paint was perfect. When it dried all sorts of imperfections appeared. In a way this is what makes a custom car. It can't be perfect like at the factory.
I'm going to try a Nitroade hauler next with the grey tank I showed on Youtube. I'll use bare metal foil for the rear end to see if I can get a good reflection like in the movie. Some of the bare metal foil is reserved for Albert Hinckey's aluminum sides. This is why I don't want to do the whole tank in bare metal foil.

Thanks for the nice comments to all.

Thanks GotFrank. Have you tried it? How is it?

I was planning on using Bare-Metal foil. I have three sheets in hand.

I wish I could use a product like this instead, but I think this might be extremely expensive.
I wouldn't even know where to buy this.

Disney Pixar Crazy Christmas Village Micro Cars

I have a bumper Cars display in my Christmas village. I just had an idea. By simply replacing the bumper cars in the display ride you can make the micro Cars roll around in the bumper cars area. Notice the bad cars Professor Z and the Gremlin that are surrounded by Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. The Apple micro is a customs I made a while back.
