  • Cars 2 Scalextric Lightning Mcqueen.

I found this today and could not resist.
A little pricey at £32 but I like it.
Francesco is available as a single too along with the set containing both cars for £100.

Oh no, please tell me this is not real, after Cars, there was Cars Lego, now Cars Scalextric! all 3 of my sons favourite things. The set is a 'Start' set, is this different to a normal Scalextric set does anyone know?

Looks very nice... I've not heard of Scalextric before.

What size? It looks larger than a 1:55 or 1:43 scale... I did a web search - I see that they are 1:32 scale...

I just went to the company website... looks incredible... I better not get started on these...

My son was given the Micro Scalextric Cars set last Christmas from his Grandparents. It was useless... far too fragile for a starter set. Eventually went back after swapping the set a couple of times. We're trying again this year and he is getting the Start set from them. It's all full size (compatible with my LeMans set safely stored in the loft!) and the controllers allow the power to be turned down for those new to Scalextric. Looking forward to some Lightning and Francesco battles!

                  Release the McQueen pirelliboy....

And cac1959 - you don't have Scaletrix in the US...!!! Wow - it's great...!!! Jackson already has the "My first Scaletrix" sat in the loft waiting for him when he turns 3 (I found it for £7 at a car boot - it's the official Scaletrix too and works - not that I've got it for me!)
