    Trading Guidelines

    Firstly, www.pixarcarsdiecast.com is not responsible for any trades that take place via this forum, it is purely a vehicle for YOU to arrange your own trades. It is not the role of the moderators to intervene and resolve trade disputes. www.pixarcarsdiecast.com accepts no liability for trades whatsoever.

    Communication is key. When conducting a trade keep communication lines open and often so each partner in the trade knows what is happening. Let the trade partner know when items have been packaged and shipped and when items have been received. This forum has Private Messaging facilities, please use it. When the trade has completed, be sure to leave appropriate feedback in the Trade Feedback thread.

    Make sure that the item is packaged as per the recipients requirements - again you need to be clear about these requirements. Please remember that neither the sender or recipient can't influence how the Postal Service will handle the package during transit so be sure to act accordingly.

    When listing items for trade you MUST list the items that you have (actually have, in hand, not can get!) and what items you are looking for. Listing card numbers alone is insufficient, please list the full name of the item. Also state the condition of the item (carded / loose / mint / etc) and what card back it is on (if appropriate - more important for those looking for specific items). If no specific card back is mentioned then it is assumed that it is not important. Please also state were you are located and whether you're willing to trade internationally or not.

    If you are trading Internationally please be aware that due to increased security / customs requirements some items are taking between 20 and 30 days to reach the recipient. Please be patient during this time. If you have a customs or shipping number when you mail the package, provide that to the recipient so that they can track the status of their item themselves.

    It's the responsibility of the traders to agree what is a worthwhile trade, but please remember that we're all collectors and the purpose of this forum is to help each other out. It is expected that certain discontinued / hard to find items are worth more than the pegwarmers. A gerneral rule of thumb is:
    Single = Single
    Mega Size = 2 x Singles
    Hauler = 3 x Singles

    Again, each trade is unique and it is the responsibility of the traders to agree what they feel is worthwhile. If you don't like the terms of the trade, don't do it! Once a trade has been agreed then etiquette dictates that is final.

    Before you trade be sure to check out the Trade Feedback thread. New traders should expect to send their items first as a sign of good faith when trading with a known trader in order to accumulate good feedback themselves. As always this is just a guideline and it is the responsibiloities of the traders to agree the terms of their own trades. Be sensible, don't trade 20 cars with someone you don't know or doesn't have any Trade Feedback.

    Please restrict your trades list to one per user - edit your post if things change and be sure to update your needs / wants once they have changed / been fulfilled.

    Derailing of other members trade / sales threads is not allowed, please post your own threads. Comments as to peoples prices / conditions is also not allowed. Any such comments will be deleted.

    If your post does not meet the minimum requirements (e.g I need cars 1, 4, 7 and 12. I want Cars 2 and 8) then the post may be deleted.
