Disney Cars Story Sets

[Scavenger]

New playsets are available for Cars called Story Sets. They connect in multiple configurations and are completely made of plastic of course. There are 4 main sets and 3 launchers that I have seen so far...

Main sets:
Cozy Cone Spiral Rampway
Luigi's Loop
Mack Truck
& Escape From Frank

Launchers:
Tractor Tippin'
Piston Cup Pit Stop
& Highway Hideout







We opened and set them up today...the kids love them. I would however only recommend for play. There's not a whole lot of display value in them. The launchers work great with the plastic Cars but diecast will not make the luigis loop. We have one more launcher unopened and I will get them the Frank and Mack sets when I find them.

I found the Mack set today at Target. It was similar to the one I bought for my nephew back when my son had just started playing with Cars. That was back in '09 and I never saw anything like that playset again until today.

I found the Escape from Frank set at Target... but at $34.99 I left it...

I wish we had more buildings like the original 4 from Toys R US way back when... I've got several custom buildings made by GotFrank that I really like... one of these days I need to clear off a spot to display them.

However I do agree. I wish Mattel would come out with the original Radiator Springs Playsets.
