Anybody have an idea when the planes merchandise is going to hit stores?!! My wife constantly is on my case about buying all these cars and going out "hunting" all the time so I swore I'd get maybe a few and that's that. Well she just send me two trailers of the movie and is showing me pics from google and actually is talking about cars ( well really planes) with me and seems all about it. That's great news for me maybe ill have a " hunting partner" and the boys wins too....... I wasn't going to but I guess I am now time will tell!!!

well according to toys r us computer manafest, there on there way.
stock allocated to stores awaiting delivery, thats what it says. Thier is
also cars 2 assortment (what ever that is) 30 till a case & priced @ Ł3.49.
have no clue to what they are also... more silver racers and no rsc forecast.
Thats what the Belfast store states, so cant speak for the nation on that one.

I remember JMDL sent an email on the first case content and said it willbe available on late spring.
As far as i know these toys have been made. I have seen dusty and another plane from backdoor.
It just looks as weird as what was shown on t5.Comment

I tell myself I'm not going to get too excited about Planes... Yeah, I don't believe me either.
Thanks for the posts, the links (the character list on imdb is cool, so is the trailer, so is Met's post, the JMDL case assortment)...
If Cars2 is any indication, official release of toys was 5 weeks before the movie opened in the US... (9 weeks if we count Family Dollar releasing toys 4 weeks early)... by the same time line, look for the toys 5 to 6 weeks before the movie starts... kids will carry their favorite Planes character in with them to see the movie... by going to a theatrical release instead of the straight to home video release, you know that they're planning on Planes being big.Comment
