Great find.. I'm amazed Asda has a first to market on these since they have been way behind the last years worth of stock.

I do like them but at nearly £7 each .. will have to wait and see them in store before i decide on that one.

Having just shelled out £90 (GBP) for 18 new 2014 World of Cars at Sainsburys, along with a couple of recent 2014 Deluxe and Double packs from the US, these aren't priority right now as others have said these will be ten a penny once Tesco, Smyths over order them! If Mattel confirm that all 11 racers are going to be released to complete the series, then that maybe a game changer for me, but still £7.00 a pop is a bit excessive IMHO.

I agree, £7 is way overpriced for what they are but Mattel are not stupid, they know that collectors find it hard to say no to new releases, even if it's only a jazzy repaint of previous cars. As Nigel said, give it a month and they will be everywhere, annoyingly filling the shelf space where normal singles should be. Give it 3 months and they will be on offer, so it may be worth holding out for a time - if you have the will power?!

Cool, thanks! These just got interesting. I thought I read somewhere that these had glow in the dark stickers on them instead of tampographs. I haven't seen them yet, but they should be easy to spot when they show up here.

I may be in. These look cool, especially Shu. $7 would be a little rough to spend on a repaint though. Hopefully they will be $3.47, like other singles at my local Target.

I really like the cards on these too. I have a loose backdoor nigel if anyone is interested in trading for it. Thus may be the first set I plan on keeping carded.

Yeah, now that my kids have moved on from Cars a little bit, any repaints like this will be easy to keep carded.

So are they metallic, or plastic? If they are essentially the same as a normal car with just the neon on them, that could be cool.
