I am on-board with the Neon cars, I like the paint schemes and Neon style decals. It seems that the Mattel 1:55 diecast cars are the start of something much bigger!

Did you accidentally lock them? There is one part of the chassis that looks like a button, but if you push that it will lock the car and then it won't light up. Each car has a unique place in the decal that masks the button. Some are on the hood, some are on the rear window. The lighting up is really cool too.

Where is the button on the Raoule and Nigel? I've spent a lot of time and can't find anything to light these up.

I'm excited about the possibility of a non-Super Chase neon Vitaly coming out, since he's part of the race in the book.

Was at the same target I saw the neons about a week ago and the cars are just about all gone, only one Nigel and one Raoul remain...and only 2 four packs...these are flying out faster than I expected...

I'm still on the fence... I have Max coming (when I'm ready for it to be mailed)... but I'm going to be spending less on Cars and I have to prioritize... we went shopping for more backsplash Tuesday night... I was within 1/4 mile of 2 different Target stores and didn't go to either (and didn't got to Walmart or Meijer either).

I bet your wife appreciated not making the extra stops as well

I bought the book yesterday at Target... I did receive the Neon Max in the mail this week...

My wife does appreciate me not stopping at extra stores again yesterday... I skipped Toys R US, 1 Walmart, and Kmart... only stopped at one Walmart, Target, and Meijer... we stopped at 8 other stores looking for things for the new house.

I'd rather be Cars shopping...

People are buying them thinking they light up - when they find out they don't it's a disappointment. I expect sales for this will decline quickly once word spreads. My kids were so excited opening these and completely turned off when they realized they don't light up at all.

I like the look of the Neons, my only problem is the $5 per single cost. I decided to scale back my 2 of each which I was going to do initially..now I am just going to do just 1 of each for the display case!
