  • Display the cardered cars collection

Those of you who collect cardered cars, tell us please you somehow this collection demonstrate, or all the cars are in boxes, hidden from prying eyes?

I certainly understand that exposure to such a collection need a separate house. But nonetheless. Has anyone attempted to put such a collection on public display?

I have a few boxed sets and singles so they're fairly easily seen... others I have on bookshelves but they're turned sideways and not easily seen... others are in storage totes and boxes... I've got a 14' by 23' room for my Cars (and my study)... and it's not big enough.

Most of my display is for my loose (opened) Cars.

The link from GotFrank shows an amazing way to display a carded collection, in my opinion... thanks for sharing that, GotFrank!

It's changed a little from when these pic were taken, but it's still basically the same. Just a little more has been squeezed in.

Thanks for link. Excellent collection. The best of what I've seen. Nevertheless, it's still cars on the shelves. It would be interesting to look at the design of an exposition cardered cars formed by series. But, I think it is necessary to open a big museum for many, many square meters.

Petersen Museum is great, but no have new diecast. And all of them (links) is about loose cars, not cardered.

I only have a few Carded singles displayed on the wall. Most of my Cars are displayed loose in 2 Carney Cases and a bunch of the single car plastic cases.
