I'm not sure those photos are of complete cases... Mattel just doesn't bundle 5 new Cars in a case of 6... occasionally they did launchers and haulers with 5 of 6 new (2 of 2 new, 1 of 1 new, and 1 repeat)...

I can't imagine Mattel saying "we know case assortments have been pathetic so we're going to make it up to you with a case containing 100% new Cars"...

As Tom Petty used to sing, "the waiting is the hardest part"... especially when you're a Cars-a-holic.

Oh man, how refreshing would it be if that was an actual case assortment? Not only for the new cars, but to signify a change in Mattel's distribution strategy as well....ah, a fella can dream...

I can't get on eBay from work so will have to check out that last link from home.

I hope we do get new deluxe size cars, but can't see all 5 of those being in one case assortment. The Toy Pallet don't do themselves any favors either - order by "lucky dip" and no returns allowed!

Some new cars would be great but not too many all at once for me - space them out - just a few newer cars per case for me please, but sory out those assortments to not leave a sea of brown and blue on the pegs (that's Race Team Mater and Finn McMissile)
