Anyone ever use CHAT function?

Anyone ever use CHAT function as never see anybody in there???

Been in it lots of times DW - but as the user base isn't as high as CTT over here, it doesn'tget as many in it...

If others are online (this site is way better than CTT for showing hwho is online) and I have time to chat I'll pop in there and maybe PM others that's what I'm doing...

Ive only ever seen me and one or two others in it thats all.........................was thinking maybe members didnt realise the function was there!

To be honest, I think you're correct - the facility isn't obvious

Perhaps we should do something to promote it at some point - I'll have a word with Rippers about it...

Next time I get on when I am home, I'll try it. Can't really do it at work very covertly...

I've used it on occasion to communicate with UK moderators... the problem is the 5 hour time difference... I can't use it at work unless I'm on my lunch break, and as I often don't feel like using a computer when I get home after work (I work in IT), I don't... It may be 8 to 10 pm Eastern time before I have free time during the week, and very few people are on it during that time period.
