  • Disney Bath Toys

My son hasn't had any new bath toys recently and when I was in the Disney Store I saw that there were a set of Cars 2 bath toys in there. After discussions with my wife (and a cars dry spell) I decided to get them for him and he loves them... Last night's bath time was the best one for quite some time...

There's Lightning McQueen, Mater, Luigi, Sarge, Francesco Bernoulli and Finn McMissile. Picture below, but can anyone spot the error?

You spelled Lightning and Sarge wrong?

Mater is missing his hook? (Can't tell from this angle)

    Finn McMissile is too small?

My spring allergies have kicked in early and my eyes aren't seeing things clearly... guess I'll have to wait awhile for the answer...

      What spelling mistakes???!!! *wink wink

I did spot it myself from this angle but it was with the real toys. I'll give it a few more days and then post a close up of the car in question....

Size is a good guess, but it's not the error I was referring to - given that they're bath toys I'm quite accepting of those.... And before anyone else asks, the number on Sarges bonnet is the same as the one on the diecast (which I was surprised about - and no I didn't go looking for this, my son put the bath toy with the diecast and I saw it then...)

Congrats yuffie, exactly as I noticed it...

Cars 1 LMQ body with a cars 2 paint job... money saving at its best!

Nevertheless my son still loves it

We use our Color Changers as bath toys. They don't change color anymore, but the kids still like to play with them.

My boys love these things as well. I do wonder why Mattel killed the line cause there is a lot of demand for these and they are no longer made. Last year my wife bought some Ramone playset just to get the color changer Ramone that came with it. Her rationale is that the playset cost $19.99 and going to ebay would have cost $70 for the same car. Makes sense.

My boy just received a bath Finn that has a pull string that makes him propel through the water and a button that squirts water out the side guns. He LOVES it!

Hydro wheels have supplanted the color changers in our house, thankfully. Was getting awfully tired of getting a cup of ice water every night that either got spilled in the tub or on the floor. The littlest dude likes the bright colors of Hydro Rip, too, so it's a win-win.

Yah, my Color Changers are flaking off pretty badly now. But my son loves the Rip Hydro Changer. He really wants the Porto Corsa boat launcher with McQueen, so I picked it up as birthday present for later this year.

We have that guy. He's great. The hydro wheels work much better when you give them a running start, too. The only bad thing that we'd have to say about it is that the boat doesn't come with a name. We make do with "Boaty the boat."

That would be Bath Blastin' Sub Finn, and yep it's a great toy. You get baddies on targets to squirt water at as well.

It's a Porto Corsa yacht isn't it, that Mater hooks to escape the casino lemons? I reckon something like Fabio would be suitable. Just a suggestion

I can still buy you a Ramone Color Changer playset at my local Big Lots, haha.
