Same in Coventry TRU, but, I think even the staff are not impressed at the complete lack of new Cars 2 diecasts, they have 20 or so full boxes of Maters & Finns + all the peg display models, the big Cars display is going this weekend to be replaced by Lego, Cars will now have 3x 10ft shelves at the back of the shop.
Shame really as if there was new stuff out we'd buy it, but in all honesty I'm a bit bored of seeing the same stuff in a different order everytime we go to the shops.

My remaining Faux Wheel Drive promo Cars have the dates of 1168, 1278 (x2), and 1308 (x2).

Miguel & Shu singles found at Family Dollar: 10/15/11

Based on a tip, I went to a Richmond (Indiana) Family Dollar store... I found the case with the Miguel Camino and Shu Todoroki plastic tire singles... $5 plus tax - that's the same price that they were at Kohl's 2 weeks ago... each Family Dollar store should have these singles.





Now to find the Lewis and Carlo singles at retail... and the Kmart 7 Collector Event is in 1 week.

We have all the plastic tire ones open to play with. They are taking quite a beating. Shu's paint is all gone on the front and Carla's decal is starting to peel. Going to keep all 10 rubber tire versions in plastic cases with our "poor man's" Piston Cup Race car collection. Still looking forward to Kmart Day on Saturday.

This is the same in the lakeside, West Thurrock branch, I asked how much stock they have out the back and they have case after case of old stock and wont get nothing new until what remains is low although seeing the pit crew team sets are good value for Ł9.99. I hope the film makes the kids buy all the finns maters and mcqueens so every retailer gets new stock in.

Fred Meyers- found my first Pinion in the wild. Found a Fillmore LnS at the same store. I guess this is what passes for an exciting score these days.

The Lights and Sounds Ramone is the only one that I am missing... hopefully I get it soon... I have decided that I'm no longer going to buy 2 of each Lights and Sounds though... I don't need one to open and one to keep carded.

I've only seen 1 Pinion Tanaka in the wild too, sodabear... way too many Deluxe case A and B means retailers are not ordering replacement product... Mattel needs to swap out the Deluxe and the 2 packs like they have the singles... Case E 2 packs have gone straight to overstock stores (Gordman's)... I did get a Security Guard Finn 2 pack from a friend on Saturday. There was a report that the Deluxe G case with the Pope and Popemobile has been found at Walmart in Florida... hopefully we'll see that come November 1 when the movie comes out on DVD and Blu-ray.

I'm not sure we'll see more than 7 new rubber tire racers at Kmart on Saturday at the event, but I will look.

spotted green nigel on a clip strip in the cereal aisle in asda, nice spot I thought as there was nought new on the main display, got him for 4 quid as they forgot to remove the old price!

Hit up Kmart to see if by some miracle they'd got in the crew chief 2-packs yet. No dice, but the stocker was pegging a fresh case of rubber-tire racers...from day 6.

Checked out my Kmart too. The Carla and Crew Chief two packs they put out three weeks ago are still hanging there. Nothing new except for McQueen Alive. Can't justify the $63 price tag for that purchase. It is my daughter's birthday coming up, so Kmart sent me her $5 off birthday club coupon we will use for Kmart Day 7!
