    mr b, who is the best footballer of all time, clue he played for united, his name was geordie best as if you didnt know, so "all the best", comes" all the geordie best" or just "all the geordie", comprende!
    as for "keep her lit", this is a biking term, when the boys are giving it welly, the spectators shout "keep her lit, boy", check out joey dunlop and the north west 200, incidently this race is on saturday, it rivals the IOM TT, check it out on the i player.

    I get what most of those sayings mean with the exception of "Keep her lit" although can hazzaed a guess...

    I'm really struggling as to the origin of "All the Geordie" (although I get its meaning) - why would you wifh people a "whole person from newcastle"?!?!?!
