    3. When did you start collecting Cars?
Just after the Wal-Mart 8 were released. Summer 2007 I think.

    4. Why did you start collecting Cars?
For my oldest son Harrison as rewards. He has a high-functioning form of Autism. So he's into having the Cars displayed in order. And keeping track of all the names. But He grew out of Cars a while ago. His younger brother seems to be picking up the torch though.

    5. How many cars (roughly) do have currently have?
Around 550 - 600 99% of Cars (1) loose, 30% carded. And 85% Cars 2 loose, 3% carded. (Mattel only except DS Frank & Paddy)

    6. Which diecast car is your favourite (only one allowed)?
SDCC Rescue Squad Mater Amazing paint & detail!

    7. Which car (from the movie) is your favourite, and why?
[I]Frank, I live in the home of combine manufacturing (both John Deere, Case IH). And the excitement he adds to the film is pivotal in my opinion.{/I]

    8. What has been your best ever find?
Team Bumper $ave (H,R,P), Shifty Drug Hauler, Johnnie, Jamie & Cone McQ @ Target comes to mind. I did get the Storytellers Showstoppers, Cousins, & Bubba all on clearance too. Tie..?

    9. What car(s) do you currently own?
Mine - (Fully restored ie: I had to replace the engine. errr) 1998 Buick Le Saber (Links Edition), The Wife's - 2005 Chrysler Town & Country (Touring)

    10. What is your dream car?
1967-69 Camaro SS something like this

    11. What do you do for a day job?
Full-time dad (2 sons), my wife is Human Resorces for a company that converts paper documents into digital files.

    12. Other than Cars Collecting, do you have any hobbies?
Movies, some TV (Sci-Fi, comedy, documentaries). I also draw.

    13. What is your greatest ever achievement?
    Raising a child with Autism.

    14. What is your favourite ever TV show and favourite ever movie?
Red Dwarf, I watch these over & over and they never get old, Dune, I could rant for a while. But just great on all points IMO.

    15. If you won "Who want's to be a millionnaire", what would you do with the money?
Australian opal mine dooms-day bunker, maybe... But certainly a world tour with my evil twin brother. Host a freakin' awesome meet & greet for all the Cars folks. Have a good time.

Watch out for future articles showing the details of GotFrank's self built Radiator Springs...

So this is the GotFrank character that I've heard so much about... Seriously, it's great to have you here on the site... Josh and I have been helping each other out for several years... We both got through a bad case of Desert Back Fever... his self built Radiator Springs is awesome and has been a great inspiration and I hope to add more of the buildings...

We are godparents to an autistic 17 year old... you definitely have a great achievement raising Harrison... and we're glad to know that Owen likes Cars and allowing you to carry on with collecting (not that you need an excuse).

If I ever get my dream 65 - 68 Mustang and you get your Camaro, we'll have to go cruising down Route 66!

Looking forward to your Radiator Springs articles.

I either don't get your answer to Q5.... Either I'm missing something or you need to resit your maths exams - perhaps go to school with Owen???!!!

Great to learn a little more about you mate (although I already knew most of it...)

Five, ah yes percentages & Cars collectors... Went wrong on CTT too. Of the non-lenticular 1:55 Mattel produced items from Cars(1) diecast line I have 99%-ish of it in loose form. And around 30% of everything released (NL 1:55 M DL) carded.

The same logic applies to the Cars 2 numbers.

Now as a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Math from Butler University (Go Bulldogs!), I understand the math you used...

550 to 600 Cars total... 99% of the Cars 1 items are loose... 30% are carded - that tells me you have duplicates - some items you have both loose and carded (I do too).

Of the Cars 2 items you have, 85% of them are loose, and 3% are carded - that must mean 12% of the items are in transit... or have been announced or featured on Cars forums but not in yet.

At least you came up with numbers... I don't know what all I have... sounds like a project for a 3 day weekend.

LOL @ soda. It wasn't really by choice. In 2001 I had a back injury that I had surgery on. And I never really fully recovered. So unable to return to my job as a Flooring Sales Specialist at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse. And having dropped out of "Art College". My future employment perspectives were limited. So I decide to offset daycare costs and stay home with our son. It's had it's pluses & minuses... But the time I've had with my boys is invaluable!

You were nearly right Chris. The 3% in Cars 2 are carded duplicates. and 15% of released Cars 2 items I have yet to obtain. Granted many of those have not appeared in US stores yet... "Duh," says Finn, Mater & McQueen.
