They still look weird to me but better now that Max has the corrected wheels on Met's post. I knew the red wheels were not going to be right.

I don't think I'll get these unless Mattel confirms all 11 will be released.

Confirmed on take 5 a day that these are being released but not as part of 2014 singles - presumably meaning that they will be more expensive

These can't be customs, they have to be real. If you didn't notice, the new TRU Flos set comes with a plastic "RS Lightning McQueen" which is the updated version in the "Tales from Radiator Springs" series..and I just found this awesome die-cast version of him that has a similar style to the Max and Shu that people found on Ebay recently. Seriously, he looks great with his racing sponsors on his sides!

While I also believe these are gonna be released you can't say they cannot be customs! There are some beautiful factory customs and regular customs out there! The guy who has been selling these cars has also had several metallic colored super chases that looked fantastic but it does not mean they are gonna be released!

True but they do look as if they are glow in the dark - especially the white lines on Max Schnell - they might not be everyones cup of tea but they certainly look better to me than the Carla/Sir Nigel with flames line. Each to their own I guess.......

IMO, those are the worst customs I've seen in a while. And they are definitely customs; why would Max and Frosty have red rims and Shu be metallic?

I will definitely not be going to the Kmart events if that's what they give us in June.
