Jeff and Lewis are one piece body variants... Lewis has a little bit of red in his mouth but does have the gap for the tooth.

I agree... 2 packs with crew chief and racer were OK (Kmart exclusives) if they'd have been more readily available... a 10 (11) pack with 10 (11) crew chiefs would have been awesome... even back to the days of Cars, you had 3 packs with racer/crew chief/pitty or 4 packs with crew chief and 3 pittys.

Mattel must think that a 4 pack with 1 new Car yields a higher profit than a 4 pack with 2, 3, or 4 new Cars... Sigh...

QFT! It's terrible marketing over there. I think they have a skewed perception of how many collectors/parents out there are willing to fork out money for the same car in different packaging.

I'm really liking the fact that all of teh crew chiefs in this one are different molds (compared to Cars 1 and the never ending supply of pickup trucks)

two 5 packs would be perfectly fine with me with a single released somewhere (filmore maybe..or may the kmart mater with headset would be enough).

EDIT: according to the pixar wikia (although that is always subject to change and may not always be 100% accurate), Rip does not have a crew chief. So that would fit perfectly with two 5 packs. Although I imagine they would create one just for the toy line.

Opened this one last night. First time I have ever seen a Story Tellers package. Really neat. Maybe BobbyJack will let me wait until we get a new Flo in the next wave of RS Classics before we open him. Tonight I opened a package from Chris...


It will be cool adding this McQueen to our collection in the display case. We got Smell Swell McQueen in a trade a few months ago. I will have to update our collection photos after we open some more stuff.
