In order the view some of the recent postings, I signed up to Tapatalk on my mobile phone, but annoyingly, it kept forgetting my password, so I gave up and deleted the app! It was great having PCD, CTT and others all together while it lasted ... not very long!

Anyway, I'll start with a report that the final Cars 3 singles case 965K (actually over-stickered with 966D) has been found at a number of locations including Sainsburys and ASDA. I've been unable to confirm the full contents as I haven't seen a full case as yet.

The contents were supposed to be:

    CRUZ RAMIREZ
    JACKSON STORM (IGNTR 2.0) - 2no
    SMOKEY
    TACO
    TIM TREADLESS (NITROADE No. 28)
    APB
TOMMY HIGHBANKS (FAUX WHEEL DRIVE No. 54)
MURRAY CLUTCHBURN (SPUTTER STOP No. 92)
    DINOCO CRUZ RAMIREZ No. 51
    CIGALERT
    PATTY
    PILE UP
    FABULOUS LIGHTNING McQUEEN
CHASE RACELOTT (VITOLINE No. 24) (2G)
    RUST-EZE LIGHTNING McQUEEN - 2no
BUBBA WHEELHOUSE (TRANSBERRY JUICE No. 6) (2G)
RYAN "INSIDE" LANEY (BLINKR No. 21) (2G)
    MATER - 3no
    LUIGI & GUIDO
    FILLMORE

It actually looks like there are 3no. Jackson Storm and 2no. Fabulous Lightning McQueen and no Rust-Eze Lightning McQueens in there. If someone see's a full case, please report it!

As has been reported on a parallel thread (probably started on Tapatalk and only accessible through Tapatalk), TK Maxx in the UK have been getting some individual cars, lots of them. It looks like they have had the last Cars 2017 singles case 974E (US 996C).

The cars that have been found so far:

    KORI TURBOWITZ
    RAOUL CaROULE
    MARTY BRAKEBURST
    ANDREA (with Camera)
    CRUZ BESOURO
    M.A. BRAKE DRUMM
    CORIANDER WIDETRACK
MANNY FLYWHEEL (N2O COLA No. 68)
BRUSH CURBER (FIBER FUEL No. 56)
    MATTI
    TUBBS PACER (with Paint Spray)
    RACE TEAM SARGE
MURRAY CLUTCHBURN (SPUTTER STOP No. 92)
    DENISE BEAM

Other cars that were touted to be in that case:

    WGP LIGHTNING McQUEEN
    LIGHNING McQUEEN No. 95
    RADIATOR SPRINGS LIGHTNING McQUEEN
    SHU TODOROKI (with Flames)
    BRONZE PEUGEOT (with Microphone)
    FUNNY FACE MATER
    MINI COOPER (with Camera)
    TODD MARCUS

There have not been any reports of these cars so far.

Finally, Toys R Us in the UK have agreed a rescue package with their creditors including the Pension Protection Fund.

At least 26 of the 106 stores will close:

    Aberdeen
    Basingstoke
    Belfast Newtownabbey
    Birmingham St. Andrews
    Bolton
    Bradford
    Brislington
    Cambridge
    Cardiff
    Derry City

    Livingston
    Old Kent Road

    Watford
    York
Manchester Central Retail Park - already earmarked for closure

Found the latest mini racers in a Tesco yesterday, picked up metallic LMQ, dirt track LMQ, Splutter Stop and Octane Gain. There were more but I like to get just a few at a time!

Thank you for posting the link to the story, niftynigel... unfortunately the state of retail does not appear to be getting any better... supposedly TRU is going to be shutting stores and moving to smaller stores in the US as well...

There's no doubt that social media has a large presence in society today... We have members from Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, the UK, and the USA who used to be active on the PCD forum that are now only active on the Facebook page or other Cars Facebook pages... I don't have a Twitter account and don't see myself getting one... but ever since Photobucket did what they did about no longer allowing hot linking Photobucket hosted photos on forums it has been a challenge to post photos.

We'll talk more about social media and the PixarCarsDiecast.com forum in the near future in another thread.

Great comments, boogity, niftynigel, and GotFrank.

In the meantime, please keep posting your UK finds in this thread until I start the 2018 thread.

I was on Facebook for all of 30 min. Long enough to get made a moderator for the PCD group. Then I got booted for my avatar picture. The same one I use here. I feel our relationship went it's natural course. And I've since returned to a normal "social" media free life. It was almost a hard as putting down my Camel non-filters after 18 years. JK Well maybe more like eating "just one" Lay's potato chip (crisp). So my "friends" are people who can call, email or even come to my house! And tweeting is for the birds IMO. But besides the message boards going quite. I could write an essay on all the negative effects of social media. And to wrap up my min-rant, "bread and circuses."
