Were the Cars you saw at Smyth's today the 1:55 diecasts or the Lights and Sounds? Some of those are very hard to find in the US right now... too many Finn McMissile, Race Team Mater, and Lightning McQueen...

Finally found Chase RS Ramone in Target today. Took 4 weeks of looking but he is now in our collection. First new car since Mel Dorado.

Djjd21, if you have a wilkinsons near you they may also have the light and sound cars as our local is starting to stock them.

we have 3 wilkinson's stores within a 20 mile radius and have seen a few there in the past.

found sidewall shine, gill and paul valdez haulers for Ł9.99 a piece down from Ł14.99 in smyths at cribbs causeway in bristol plus a toons padre for Ł5.99 - thought the latter was very random until found another three in the toys r us there as well - all for Ł9.99 though

smyths also had lights and sounds sarge, finn and francesco (i think) for Ł8.99 a pop

as ever the disney store was a waste of time but did see 4 or 5 lewis hamilton's and mel dorado's in the early learning centre

toys r us at brislington in bristol was disappointing - the usual peg warmers - although did get a bag of white chocolate maltesers for 50p

The wife phoned me from Sainsbury's yesterday, "they've got a Pope Pinion, shall I get him?" she asked, "of course" was my reply, so we finally have a him. Then she casually mentioned today that they also had the "gold coloured one with the black glasses". I think we can safely say that was Mel. I already picked him up on Ebay for Ł4.99 inc postage so I didn't go too crazy at her :-).

in disney store the cars merchandise has been relocated down the back of the store, enough said on that
spotted a few twin pack 1.43s, a sally and filmore which I hadnt seen before, on the back of the pack there is the flo/uk ramone twin pack shown, has anyone seen this in the UK?

still no pope in n ireland, and the queen has mysteriously vanished off the shelves in disney!

Boogity our local disney store has also moved cars to rear of shop too.
We've managed to get rip/shu, sally/filmore, flo/ramone, lewis/jeff, darrell/john.
Also managed to get camino,shu,mel and lewis in singles in there aswell.

We always phone them on delivery day to see what theyve had delivered, no wasted journeys that way

Just been to sainsburys and they had nigel,holly,mel and rod in singles. Pope in a deluxe.
Also noticed the mater and zen pitty theres two different..one pitty has a tash?
Are the tash zen master pitty common or worth getting?

Nice finds at Sainsburys, carscrazy... I've never seen Mel Dorado in a store... And to answer your question about the Zen Master Pitty... the one with the mustache is currently rare - it's in a new case that's just come out... in Cars2, the Zen Master Pitty has a mustache... when it was first released in Case A (and other cases), the pitty had no mustache...

The Race Team Mater/Zen Master Pitty without mustache is a pegwarmer here... I may just take a Sharpie and draw a mustache on the one I've got...

If Mattel wants to increase sales of the 2 packs, they'll start putting 2 new Cars in a 2 pack and increase the number of new 2 packs in a case of 12 from 5 to at least 9.

I can't believe they are still putting ZMP 2-packs in cases, mustache or not. It shows that Mattel is refusing to see what is happening at retail. It doesn't bode well for the continuance of the line.
