Came home from work tonight to find a package of 3 Faux Wheel Drive promo Cars waiting for me... 3 for less than the price of 1 from the original promo...
I have another set coming, but nowhere near the 50 that MarknotaMack received - those are great photos, Mark!
I also had a notice that a package from lovemini had finally made it to the county... It spent 9 days in New York City... I hope to pick it up tomorrow morning on my way to work and I'll share photos.

Im happy I got 50 as I know once there gone there won't be too many more big lots come up like that. If any. Maybe if we as a group would of put our heads together could of got a whole case to split between us as quite a few of us have brought them. It seemed the more you brought the cheaper they were. Mine cost with postage £2.30 each so I think thats a bargain, Im sure in the future ill trade a few for something worth more than £2.30 thats why I brought 50, but really wanted 200, Not enough cash as my American trip is only 12 weeks away. Ive heard shop-ko also does Cars items, is this true and shall I bother finding one on route. Any ideas from you guys in the US.
well after looking at a wants list a few days ago a fellow member of this site posted that he'd seen a good deal for a set of cars on the wants list for a good price off a very large and well known online retailer.so i thought i'd have a looky at the site and see what i could come up with.
this is the result of that nights searching.
yeeeesssss reeeeeesult.
and for the normal retail price of £8.98 each and delivered free.there's also a ka-ciao mcqueen 2 pack available in stock as well.
here are the link's guys
the first link, i thought i was on to a winner (look at the description compared to the photo)mini van and airport security van.world first possibly?but as you can see from my pics it was'nt the case but nevertheless a good score. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...00_i00_details
here 's the link for brent and darrell http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...00_i01_details
and here's the link for ka-ciao mcqueen (i think)i did'nt purchase this so can't tell for sure but the model no.is x9156 as opposed to v??? on the normal twin pack.
good luck guys to those who order just leave me one or 2 for next week please http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cars-2-X9156...sbs_k_h_b_cs_3
Great scores, Jason! Hopefully Amazon in the US will get them eventually... Until then, I may have to have one of my UK friends help me out.
I received a great package from lovemini today:
Metallic Paint Hudson Hornet McQueen:
Airport Security Guard:
J Curby Gremlin:
Tomica Ivan Mater:
I also received a package containing 6 1:64 display cases from one of my friends in Texas:
Here are production code dates from the 3 new Mattel Cars:
J Curby Gremlin: 3471 EAA
Security Guard: 3382 EAA
Metallic Paint McQueen: 3371 EAA
I am fairly sure that all the previous Cars2 diecasts were made at the EA factory... perhaps this has been the reason for the very long delay since we've gotten new Cars...

Chris is the security guard date 3382 EAA when we will actually see it on the shelves, or Mattels way of just saying we are making them and this is what they look like
nice scores also my friend.i was kinda hoping that the twin pack i received this morning had the airport security guard in.i can't wait to pair security guard finn with him.the colours are truly fantastic.
most plastic tyre singles are from EAA factory, kmarts are from AZ as are most deluxes and one unique single francesco.i wonder if the AZ factory specialises in the add-ons for the cars e.g.plastics,rubber tyres, etc.where as the EAA factory just manufactures the singles with no extra trimmings.
Chris is the security guard date 3382 EAA when we will actually see it on the shelves, or Mattels way of just saying we are making them and this is what they look like
the date stamp itself is a bit funny putting the manufacturing date around the beginning of december later this year.
Mark and Jason - you both are right - that date stamp seems a bit strange... I took photos of the bottom of all 3 Mattel Cars but didn't upload them to Photobucket so I won't be able to look at them until later this evening.
J Curby Gremlin (3471 EAA)
Security Guard (0382 EAA)
Metallic Finish Hudson Hornet McQueen (3371 EAA)
It was a typo on my part... I wrote the number down wrong which meant I typed it in wrong.
The correct production codes of the new Mattel Cars:
J Curby Gremlin: 3471 EAA
Security Guard: 0382 EAA
Metallic Paint McQueen: 3371 EAA
They were produced at the EAA factory; I think the EA factory has had the previous Cars2 releases.
I wrote down the wrong number for the Security Guard earlier which meant I typed it in wrong... I apologize...
The Metallic Paint McQueen is a great looking Car - there is no Rusteze logo on the rear spoiler though.
Great new additions, carscrazy... the Shiny Wax Pitty was only available in a 3 pack with the racer and crew chief, in both the World of Cars vertical style and Race o Rama horizontal boxed style... It looks like your Dinoco Helicopter is on the World of Cars cardback, and your Marco is on the WOC Mega Size cardback... all 3 of your new Cars are definitely in the hard to find now category..
Thanks for sharing your photos.
