I still like the second trailer (the silent one) better. Don't know why, honestly, but that was just my opinion.

Definitely made my mind up that I will see it in theaters. Will I buy all the diecasts? No. In fact, I may not buy any of Mattel's diecasts. Disney Store's are miles better and Ishani actually has eyelashes. I'm now considering just getting Ishani, Dusty, and Skipper, but my opinion will probably change like it has been all year.

Its a shame but some of Mattel's 55:1 diecast's have lacked detail in Cars 2 (mainly the mater disguises), there are a lot of Disney diecast's form Cars 1 that weren't great but over the years they have got better. Especially the special McQueen's and Mater disguises and special chase cars, there is some nice work on these by Disney.

And I agree the disney versions of planes toys look better and are presented better than the Mattel versions.

I like both trailers and I am going to take a trip to the cinema to see this one. I wonder how much input John Lasseter had in it? Even though its not done at Pixar it has a Pixar feel to it. I think in years to come movies out of Disney and Pixar may end up looking the same. As they are all seem to have Lasseter as the executive director on them.

Probable that Pixar just have too many movie projects on the go and not enough staff. And are getting pressure from disney to keep the cars line going for toy sales.

Im sure they must share 3d files and textures as the sea scene looks like its out of the beginning of cars 2 oil rig stage.

Nice to see Everett making a cameo too!

Roll on 9th August. Gonna brave it and take my 3 year old to the Cinema to see it!

I think I can wait until June 28th. Wonder which store will put them out ahead of time though...
