Recent Finds - October 2013 Store Purchases

Stopped by Target on my way home from dinner, was shocked to see they had the Kmart case on the pegs! Was too late and someone beat me to the Rips, Ruka, Mark Wheelsen & Boost with Flames.. Left the store with Mildred & Luigi & Guido w/shaker & glasses. At Walmart I found a Wingo with no flames, not sure if it's rare or not, but decided to get it.

Hunter - do you still have the cardback that came with Wingo? If so, can you take and post a picture? I think Wingo is supposed to be released again in 2014 - I wonder which series you saw?

I also think that someone may have played inventory relocation specialist at your store... purchased the Kmart Cars at Kmart... sent in older cards with the receipt... and returned the Silver McQueen to Target using a Target receipt.

I found a Wingo with Flames WITHOUT Flames a few months back at TRU. I picked it up thinking an error collector may have wanted it, but alas, no one asked about it, so I returned it.

Thank you, Hunter... some of the 2014 singles are starting to show up in stores - I saw a photo of a 2014 Raoul Caroule from a Walmart store - still a 2 piece body... easy pass for me.

Of course, I was only in there trying to find a Rochelle for my daughter. No luck there, as I've just missed her three times now.

So I went on my twice a year Springfield, IL trip this weekend. I'd be lying if I said I had a good day..

Because I had a great day!

The Planes, Ichigo, and Nick Stickers were found at TRU, and the 2 Jeffs and Brent w/ Headsets, Flo Micro Drifter, and Dracula Mater and Waiter Mater were at Target.

Target at 8 tonight...had the new 2pk case! Also had the "M2" or whatever case with all the repeats..it was pretty awesome night!

I had a pretty good Cars day today as well... Bought Echo at an Indy TRU... next went to a Target store... found and bought the new Movie Moments, Deluxe Dracula Mater and Waiter Mater, and the RPM#64, Wingo with Flames, and Rip Clutchgoneski singles... at a Walmart I bought a Chase Francesco Fan Mater (not pictured)...



And at a Big Lots store I found 18 of 24 Cars from case H... I was able to get a Bindo, my first in a store... I also saw the Grem from the case - it was not on a straight-edge card like many of the case H Cars.

Stopped by Target again, saw they had Red Deluxe, scanned to see if they had more Deluxe in the back, a worker brought out these! Bought both of them.
