Picked up the 'Back on the Map' three car set in TRU today, strangely they had very few cars singles. No sign of the Fire and Rescue Planes in there either.

The simple answer is when the current Geartrude 988S case runs out! But ... it's never as simple as that ...

Instead of rotating / alternating cases between major resellers, Mattel appears to be distributing the latest cases to all of them as and when needed.

The gap between the first siting of 988Q and 988S was approximately eight weeks. Cases usually come in pairs, so there is an overlap. The 998T (if that's the next case) could be out very soon.

Thanks... I really am so very happy with this bundle! I have been working away for 6 months and Bubba has been helping me collect these beauties into one massive delivery and shipped it over. Received it just now! So so happy! My main aim was trying to complete the original racers but found some more gems along the way! Santa car was $10!!!! So chuffed!

TRU toy museum lol, I was in TRU for the first time in about a year the other week and some of the cars stock had a thick layer of dust on them as they had been there so long. lol

Great scores Lozzi31, some very nice Cars in that little lot! Got a deal on the Santa car as I was bidding on e-bay for one and I lost out as it sold for over £20, mind you, it was Christmas when I was bidding and Santa Cars were at a premium!

Boogity - four Maurice in TRU, I hadn't realised he had become the new Francesco replacement peg warmer! And to think, Maurice was hard to find in my area a while back!

How long before Todd and Denise pitch up on the scene then folks?!
