quick scoot into disney today, minus wallet I may add, one new item I noticed was a 5 or maybe 6 pack of the wrestling characters, mcmean, ice creamer, padioconcrete, etc, seems a bit strange to bring this particular set out

every day as I go into work/tescos I take a sharpe right down the toy ailse, I dont think there has been anything new in cars for weeks, in fact that goes back to time of the first mama finds in asda and thats a while ago, each day i,m greeted by the purple ramone, the pull backs and the same 500.5 stuff
whats the betting theres a full box in the depths of the warehouse, but thats another story!

Guys has there been any sightings of the Henri Motisse, Jonathan Shiftko, Marcelo/Marco case in the UK yet?

Wasn't sure if I had missed that case (completely out of the loop when it comes to case codes).

Found Spinner in the Westfield Disney Store for £7, Ice Racers in Toys R us. Nothing really exciting yet!

Not as many people are reporting their finds on here, especially in the UK.

For a pre-Christmas period, the supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisons in particular) are very disappointing. From what I have seen travelling around the country, Tesco and Sainsburys are stuck with loads of overstocks of the Louie Larue case (998U).

For the subsequent cases, these have been the only confirmed sitings:

W1938-998W (ASDA 02.10.2014; TRU 07.10.2014; Smyths 11.10.2014) (1604EAA) ~ Mama Bernoulli case.
W1938-998Y (ASDA 05.11.2014; Disney 15.11.2014; Wilkinson 21.11.2014) (1604EAA) ~ Alberto, Sally and Timothy case.
W1938-995B (ASDA 26.11.2014; Toymaster 26.11.2014; TRU 09.12.2014) (1894EAA) ~ Repeats case.

You would think that the final 2014 case (995C?) would hit the shops in the next week or so, but as the 995B case has been very slow to filter across the country, that may not happen and it may find it's way here after Christmas?

Usually, there are 2,000 of each case, but it looks like there have only been 1,500 of the cases up to the Louie Larue case, where there were many more than that, maybe 3,000 - 4,000? That case coincided with school half term when Tesco and Sainsburys were selling them like crazy. I saw ten Louie Larue cases in one Sainsburys alone. Now they are stuck with the remnants of that case.

As a result, cases 998W and 998Y are very rare (unless there are cases allocated to Sainsburys, Tesco and Morrisons that haven't made it out there as yet)? My guess is that only about 500 of each case have been distributed so far.

Morrisons haven't had any Cars (or Hot Wheels) for weeks. Have they dropped both lines?

Nigel, things are very similar in the US in that the pre-Christmas selection and availability of Cars has been extremely disappointing.

Walmart stores seemed to basically stop the 2014 cases after the Louis Larue case - there may have been a few sightings of the Mama Bernoulli case... While a few members found 2015 singles, it's pretty much been restricted to Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Target stores seem to have gotten a lot of the Mama Bernoulli case... there have been a few stores that got the Alberto/Sally with Tattoo case... and very few have gotten the case with Henri Motisse, Interview Francesco, Jonathan Shiftko, and Casino Pittys (with one sighting of Carateka in Nevada).

Meijer stores have gotten in 1 or 2 cases of the Mama Bernoulli case... the ad from last week had Cars and Planes buy one get one half off and included a picture showing WGP McQueen on the 2015 cardback... but I checked 6 different Meijer stores in Indiana and southwest Ohio and none had 2015 singles... I was going to ask for a rain check at customer service last night but noticed the disclaimer in the ad said subject to availability/no rain checks.

I did find one Kohl's store on Friday that had Alberto and Sally with Tattoo... since their sale had Cars 30% off that made the price $4.19 and not their $5.99 inflated retail... since I had luck at that Kohl's, I drove further and checked out 4 more - I came up empty.

I expected we'd find some cases at Aldi - that didn't happen... and Kroger didn't get new product either... I've yet to find anything worth buying at Toys R US - my nearest stores are at least 50 to 75 miles away... I've made 4 Cars hunting trips in the last 4 weeks and I've probably bought 16 singles and 3 2 packs.

I thought we might see a repack Super case like we did in 2012 and 2013... I really expected we'd see the rest of the 2014 singles and two packs as well as 2015 Cars merchandise 3 weeks ago... and when the Ice Racers turned up in the UK a week ago I thought they'd be out in the US and other countries as well... that hasn't happened yet... if new stock doesn't appear in time for Christmas shopping, the busiest 6 weeks of the shopping year, that doesn't bode well for Cars and Planes.

I think as you say Nigel, there has been nothing to report. I've seen nothing noteworthy for a long time. The last cars I found were Sally and Alberto and I've only ever found 1 hw bond lotus. Morrisons do go through huge dry spells sometimes that make me thing they've stopped a line, but then they eventually restock so hopefully that will be the case!

I hope that the rain check policy is another US directive that makes it to the UK, it would be really useful. Our big stores entice us there with deals but they get limited stock in and we have no rain check facility 😤

Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted here as it's been slow. However for the first time in ages I found a B case of Cars yesterday. The case was stashed high on the top of the toy display in my local branch of Asda. I reached it down but it felt very light, alas there were only 2 cars left in the case, Carla with flames and Sally with tattoo. This was at 7pm in the evening so the whole toy section looked like a bomb site. I counted as many cars as I could find within the toy section and it amassed 20 vehicles. Strangely as I was scouting for cars in and around the Hot Wheels and amongst the Asda own brand toys I found two Mama B's. So, does that mean 2 cases had been put out at some point? And a whole case had already sold out? But if that was true Mama is usually one of the first to go. It was a surprise to find 2 in one place, can there be 2 Mama's as part of the contents of repack case B? . The summary of the rest of the cars on display were:

Will do my best to keep you and all concerned updated with new finds and case contents as and when I stumble across them but as you have reported above, the last month or so has been very sparse indeed. Of late I have not got my timing spot on either so I have missed what ever precious little stock that had been put out. I have arrived just in time to catch sight of the usual LMQ and Mater left overs. As you say, Morrison's have been a big disappointment this year. I got so many cars from Morrison's in 2013 but a very small number in comparison for this year. They are re-stocking the Hot Wheels (so hope for Cars in 2015) but the toy section as a whole looks very poorly stocked considering the size of their stores and the time of year. Also as you rightly pointed out Sainsbury's have the same left over stock from the October Toy Sale not moving stopping new deliveries. In an effort to shift the endless stock of Francesco's they have reduced Cars from £5.49 to £4.11. Sadly the Sainsbury's on my doorstep has had nothing new Cars-wise since the big sale. Thank goodness for Asda! As for me personally it has been by far the best place for new finds by a country mile. Over this year Asda have stocked Launchers, Deluxe, pull backs, singles, Tokyo Mater singles, Tokyo Mater box sets + Mater the Greater box sets as well as the RS500 cars and accessories. So from me a big 'Thank You' to the bods at Asda because without that chain I would have more wants than I had actually found for 2014. Now lets up the game a little more Asda Walmart for next year please and start stocking the 2015 Movie Moments! Lets hope we all see the four missing cars a lot of us need to complete the 2014 line up of singles.

I don't know if I would be able to leave Todd behind, okay I have all I need but he makes great trade bait for the future.
