Anyone have any guesses how much these Ivans will end up going for on ebay? Have there been mail-in promotions like this before that we can compare it to? I don't plan on selling mine, I am just curious.

So, better to buy it than earn it. But at least with this one, I didn't need to pick up pegwarmers, all new stuff I needed.

Yeah, to earn the 2 Ivans I ordered, I bought 3 Francesco Fan Maters, 2 Materhosens, and an Elvis RV. Not that bad and not many pegwarmers.

For the 2 US TRU promos:

5 singles at approximately $4 each = $20.00
$5 shipping per promo car = $5
Postage to mail in UPCs from cardbacks = approximately $5 (I sent via Priority Mail with a Delivery Confirmation number (now tracking number) for 3 promo Cars)

Total = $27.00 per Car.

I bought a few on eBay for $10 to $15 each shipped a few years after the promo.

Faux Wheel Drive UK promo Cars were about $32 each shipped to me in the US... It might have been last year that a UK eBay seller had loads of Faux Wheel Drive promo Cars for about $10 each... I'm not sure how many I have left.

That is a great deal Scavenger. Sometimes it pays to be a patient collector ... but most of us have a hard time doing that! LOL You never know what something will be worth down the road ... how hard it might be to get ... value ... man, when I think about things I have left on the pegs in the past .... if I knew then what I know now ... PSssssSShhhhH .... NEVER would have left them there!! Live and learn I guess

The link seems to be down right now, both from here and the Mattel site itself.

There's a bug in the link that won't work with IE browser but here's how to quickly fix it. The link is http://www.mattel.com/KMCars/ and all you need to do is delete the / character at the end of that and it will work. So the link for IE browser is --> http://www.mattel.com/KMCars

You can also use Mozilla Firefox browser as it works fine with the link.

I dont think its truly a backorder. ..I think they just planned not to start shipping prior to june 30. I had mine in on the first day and it said backorder then too!
